🎯 So, what is Jegichagi? Jegichagi (제기차기) is a traditional Korean game that has been played for centuries. The game involves kicking a small object, called a "jegi," which is typically made from paper or cloth wrapped around a coin or small weight. The goal is to keep the jegi in the air using only your feet, similar to hacky sack. It’s a game of skill, balance, and coordination, and it’s often played during Korean holidays like Lunar New Year.
In Squid Game, Jegichagi was featured as one of the deadly challenges, adding a layer of tension and nostalgia to the series. While my version is much less intense, it’s just as fun and true to the traditional game. In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step how to make your own Jegichagi at home using simple materials like paper and cardboard.
