Exprience KILA, the band that brought you the musical soundtracks of "Wolfwalkers," "Song of the Sea" and "Secret of Kells" as they return to Faerieworlds on June 18th. Join us for this spectacular musical performance at the Cuthbert Ampitheatre in Eugene, Oregon. Experience the Faerie Market with 75 crafts booths, family area and activities, workshops and multiple stages as Alton Baker Park becomes a faerie realm.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Once again, Faerieworlds, is presenting a stellar line up of international world music bands including Oscar nominated Irish headliners, Kila, who have provided the Celtic soundtracks for such acclaimed films as Apple+ animated feature “Wolfwalkers,” as well as award-winning films including “Secret of Kells,” “Song of the Sea,” and “Monster.” Kila will perform the closing set on Saturday evening starting at 8:30pm.
Sundays headlining set will feature award-winning Iranian singer and songwriter Azam Ali, whose music has been featured in “The Matrix” and “Thor” MCU films series, and who has collaborated with celebrated artist including Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), System of the Down, Zakir Hussain and the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart.
The weekend will feature an array of other Celtic and mythic music artists including Wake the Dead, Abney Park, Casey Neill and the Norway Rats, Stellamara, Trillian Green, Rosamundi & Electric Woodland, Marya Stark, Black Magdalene, Thundercrow, and more.
The Vending Village of over 75 craft & food booths will be populated with walk around performers, storytellers & puppeteers. The vending village is free to the public from 11am to 4pm daily and the main Cuthbert Amphitheater music stage gates open at 4PM until 10 PM.
