How to fix C0040 Code: Right Front Wheel Speed Circuit Malfunction
A C0040 code is set when the computer (ECM/PCM/ABS) sees an issue with the right front wheel speed sensor.
The wheel speed sensors at each tire report the speed of each tire to the computer. The information is used by the antilock brake system (ABS) to give better stability when driving.
Common causes of a C0035 code include a bad wheel speed sensor, wiring issues and a damaged reluctor ring.
