A whole heap of promos, idents, and more on The Movie Channel, but also for Sky Movies Plus and Sky Movies Gold, all from Monday, 21st September, 1992 around Robin Hood (but not Prince of Thieves) and into the film Heart Condition. Trailers include those for Mountains of the Moon, Henry and June, Miller's Crossing, The Ambulance, China O'Brien 2, Lock-Up, V, Memphis, Mr and Mrs Bridge, Bad Influence, Green Card, plus the ten to look out for next month, and it's just struck me that I've seen precisely none of the films mentioned in this entire 18 minutes. Am I missing out? Maybe Misery and The Hunt for Red October are my most egregious omissions.
As far as other business is concerned, look out for the headlines from Sky News, a promo for E Street on Sky One, and another for The Footballers' Football Show on Sky Sports, not much more than a month into the Premier League era, a.k.a. when football started, if you believe what they try to tell you nowadays. The highlight of all of this for me, though, was the completely unexpected appearance of Rob Brydon promoting his show Xposure around 15:09.
Many thanks to Ben for sending me this recording.
