Veterinary Medicine Shadowing Program | Doctors in Italy Fellowship
Guided by the "One Health" approach and driven by the goal to build bridges in healthcare at a global level, 25 students of animal sciences, pre-vet programs, and veterinary medicine spent their summer in Italy for the Doctors in Italy Fellowship.
They shadowed veterinarians caring for large and small animals, spent time with different species, learned about the daily care and life at an animal rescue, and created a true connection with fellows from other universities, vet professionals, and the animals they spent time with.
In this video some of the fellows of the summer 2022 program share what they experienced and learned firsthand, to help applicants for the Summer 2023 programs prepare and make the most of this opportunity.
