Iceland's glacial rivers might seem inconspicuous from the ground, but an aerial perspective unveils a breathtaking spectacle of colors and textures. This 3-minute flyover captures a glacial river on Iceland's south coast during late summer, filmed at sunset when the colors become exceptionally unique and vibrant. Similar to a watercolor painting in constant motion, these rivers transform with the tides and changing water levels. Flowing from glaciers towards the sea, they carry vital nutrients in the form of sediment, which give rise to the striking and unusual colors and textures seen in the water.
