The Naked Texture Artist is a podcast where VFX/animation veterans have deep and honest conversations about their challenges and growth as working artists.
This is the fourth episode with the phenomenal Myriam Catrin, The Dragon Lady, who for multiple decades have created textures and looks for some of cinema's most memorable assets in modern times. Myriam is absolutely one of the world's very best texture artists (my calculation, not hers)!

Myriam shares her experience in how to structure her texture work on an asset. She goes back in time and passes advice to her beginner self - how decoupling her thinking mind from her intuitive mind helps her not get stuck in her head. And it turns out that walking are simply a great part of an artist's arsenal of tools!
