Your introduction to deep sky astrophotography with a DSLR on a telescope [Tutorial]
How do you set up your DSLR/SLR camera for astrophotography on your telescope? And how do you even connect it?

Note: Besides the 2-inch focuser shown, there are also adapters for 1.25-inch focusers. Unfortunately, these smaller focusers are usually not very robustly constructed or are made of plastic (most entry-level telescopes). Don't be surprised if you get poor photos with them. All decent telescopes have a 2-inch focuser – even those for beginners!
