More than 40,000 veterans are homeless on any given night in America, and Alyce Knaflich was one of them for nearly 10 years as she suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The Peace Education Program helped her recover and inspired her to dedicate her life to assisting homeless women veterans through a charity she founded in Asheville, NC.
