Vision Effects is proud to publish its first demo reel, featuring current and past shots worked on from 2013 to 2015.
First shot - Title plate. Completely done in Adobe After Effects by Vision FX.
Second shot - TitanFall: Free the Frontier, E3 2013 Promotional Shot. Vision FX was responsible for Rotoscoping elements in Adobe After Effects. Much thanks to PlayFight VFX for the opportunity to work on such awesome material!
Third shot - Beasts in the Real World, TIFF Canadian Short Feature in 2013. Vision FX was responsible for CGI (3D animation and rotoscoping elements). Software used included Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects. Many thanks to ArtBeast Productions for such a fun project to work on!
Fourth shot - Building Replacement. Vision FX took a handheld shaky cam video of a street and replaced the middle building with a matte painting, added elements, did motion tracking and rotoscoping as well as a final pass of colour correction to make the shot as believable as possible.

Sixth shot - Robot City Destruction. Vision FX took a moving shot of a street and added in rubble, fire, a crashed ship, and composited footage of an explosion and a CGI Robot. Vision FX was responsible for all elements of the shot, 3D animated in Autodesk Maya and composited footage and effects with Adobe After Effects.
Seventh shot - A Haunted House. Vision FX took a picture of a house, replaced the sky footage, added elements such as slime, moss, damage and water stains for a completely transformed look. Then a colour correction pass along with CGI footage of a curtain were added to make it complete. CGI curtain made in Cinema 4D and all compositing and effects added in Adobe After Effects.
Eighth shot - ProSmart Hockey Training Intro. Vision FX took a shot of a snapshot towards the camera, added a CGI puck, matched perspective, animated the puck hitting the camera and added effects to sell the shot. CGI puck was rendered and animated in Autodesk Maya, effects were composited with Adobe After Effects.
