14 people killed, 36,000 displaced in floods in northern Italy
More than 36,000 people have been displaced from their homes by severe floods in northeast Italy, officials have said. At least 14 people were killed in violent downpours earlier this week in the country's Emilia-Romagna region. The floods have caused over 305 landslides and damaged or closed over 500 roads in the region.
