This is a wonderful hike up the mountain to some beautiful views on Waikiki beach and beyond. It is a good climb so if you are not in decent shape, it could be difficult for you. Wear good walking shoes and bring some water. Great photo opportunities here. I would recommend getting up early and doing this as it gets more crowded as the day goes on. There is a small fee to park in the parking lot and it doesn't hold a huge amount of cars. Some people parked outside of the official lot but that requires more walking and through a tunnel at that.
