Yugioh 5 Tips on Missing the Timing, Post Power of the Elements POTE
Today I'm going over missing the timing in yugioh, focusing on 5 current meta interactions. Cards effects can miss their timing to activate if they're a when optional effect. Some get used on resolution of a chain where a card was summoned like demise of the land or torrential tribute, some when destroyed like dupe frog, others occur when an attack is declared like mirror force or shaman of the tenyi, others only apply during the window of a summon such as branded lost or magical meltdown. Quick effects that directly respond to another card can miss timing by structuring a chain in such a way that a card can't be used.
