Paradise Lost | Book 4 | Summary
In Book 4 of "Paradise Lost," Satan, having escaped Hell, enters Paradise and contemplates his rebellion. He observes Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and is envious of their bliss. Disguised, he tempts Eve through dreams. Gabriel and his angels confront Satan, who flees at the end, maintaining his plot against humanity.
