ONE SETTING TO FIX GOPRO'S BIGGEST PROBLEM.
Activating the exposure lock on your GoPro camera will change your action filming life. No more blown out highlight or weird, unnatural lighting adjustments when going through harsh sunlight and shady section of trail. In this video I'll show you why this needs to be done almost every time you film with a GoPro.
Although I will be explaining this specifically for mountain biking, this will also help with any other activity where the light is not constant like skiing, low light filming, hiking, surfing. Basically anything except for perfect overcast where light is consistent and blissful.
I'm shooting on a Hero 8 Black, but this applies to all below GoPro's:
HERO9 Black
MAX
Hero 8 Black
Hero 7 (White, Silver, & Black)
Hero (2018)
Hero 6 Black
Hero 5 Black

Even thought the Hero 9 has been out for nearly a year, I still think the Hero 8 is GoPro's best hero camera of all time. That being said, I can't to see if the GoPro Hero 10 will be the new champ in my eyes.
I am riding and filming at my local mountain resort, Mount Washington, where I'm riding my favourite trail Hustler. #mymw
