GST registration required earning from Google Adsense below 20 lakhs
The one particular query every blogger or webmaster has is whether he needs to take GST registration if he is earning from Google Adsense.
In this video I will be giving my opinion on whether you take GST registration if you are earning from adsense and your receipts for the year are below 20 lakhs in a year.
In my opinion Adsense income is realisation from export of services and is an inter-state supply.
22nd GST council meeting held on 06/10/2017 at New Delhi exempted inter-state supplies below 20 lakhs from GST registration.
Looking at this amendment, my opinion is that GST registration is not required if earnings from Adsense is below 20 lakhs.
