Easy Tight Line Nymphing Set Up | How to Build the Troutbitten Mono Rig Leader
In this video, I'll show you how to build the **Troutbitten Standard Mono Rig**, developed by Domenick Swentosky of Troutbitten. Domenick's writing and instruction have had a significant influence on my understanding of tight line nymphing, and this is the leader system I fish and recommend to anglers who are learning the technique.
We'll build the leader step by step, from measuring the 20-pound Maxima Chameleon butt section to adding the sighter, tippet ring, and fluorocarbon tippet. Along the way, I'll share a few practical tips for customizing the leader for different fishing situations, along with how I organize and store my leaders so they're ready to fish.
