How to Get BOWS Early in Elden Ring?
You can get access to bows pretty early in Elden Ring.
Shortbow
----------------
To get a short bow early in the game, just head over to southeast of Coastal Cave, where you can find the nomadic merchant sitting under a large rock archway.
The short bow cost 600 runes. So make sure that you have enough runes before heading in that direction.
The attribute requirement is pretty low for the short bow. It only requires 8 strength and 10 dex.
Longbow
----------------------
The Longbow can be purchased from Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold. The longbow costs 1200 runes and requires 9 strength and 14 Dex which is a pretty low requirement.
Now to unlock Roundtable Hold, you must meet Melina once certain requirements are met and she should take you there.
Compared to a short bow, a longbow has more reach and can deal more damage.
How to use bow and arrow on PC?

If you have equipped two types of arrows, you can use your normal attack button to use the first set. To switch to the secondary arrows you can use your heavy attack button.
