How to build your own Moth Trap | Cheap & simple
How to cheaply DIY a moth trap for recording moths in your garden. This specific design is based on a Robinson moth trap and is built using spare parts I had in the garage. Usual traps are £100+, but this can be built for a fraction of the price, depending on what you can find. Mine cost me £18 total.
I have used the trap for a month so far. It has had 50 species and 170 moths total. I am still a beginner to mothing, so please let me know if I have any incorrect information. Thank you for watching and I hope you can take something away from this video! 🦋
