KRONEN salad processing line with automatic weighing belt system
The salad processing line can add, among others, carrot sticks and sliced white cabbage by weight. It consists of a 16-person cleaning table, a cutting machine, two weighing belts and two HELICAL GEWA 4000V PLUS washing machines. The line processes a capacity of up to 1,400 kg/h.
An inclined belt catches the cut product and feeds it to the master weighing belt. The flat-to-inclined weighing belt for the additional components, such as carrots or cabbage, is designed to cut the products directly onto the belt. The admixing components are then added directly to the first washing machine - in the pre-programmed weight ratio - and mixed simultaneously during the washing process in the washing machines.
