Once you're at lvl 80 necromancy,
and if you want to upgarde to the better gear for power, Kili will
give you the task to gather some materials from the QBD and Nex.
Unless you have multiple party members that are willing to fight nex
with you with necromancy, odds are, you're going to have to beat nex solo.
And if you remember, before all the power creep or if you've never fought nex before,
the blood phase is a massive headache.
Let me reintroduce to you, onslaught which is a powerful channeling constitution
ability that does inscreasing damage the longer it plays out- be careful though
as this can kill you if you don't stop it. You can unlock this from a mazcab codex.

To lessen the hassle of the blood phase, you have to kill nex in between her first
life siphon as she heals for every damage you do on her during siphon and leeches
of the reavers' HP. You can kill the reavers with threads of fate incantation
and take it slow to kill her as a safer option but with the onslaught method,
you can get more consistent one cycle blood phases even at 80 necromancy.
Here's how to do it:
As for prep, before you kill umbra,
you want to:
-be overloaded and activated book slot
-have vuln and maybe smoke cloud applied on nex
-3 soul stacks or 6 necrosis stacks
Build to 100 adrenaline while killing umbra
After killing umbra while nex is siphoning
-without targeting nex, cast command vengeful ghost (this makes it so you don't lose adren)
and this debuff nex further,
-cast command skele warrior
-try to position yourself about 5-6 tiles away
-onslaught after siphon and make sure not to move until you get marked
when nex is below 100k you should be marked which is
when you should run away with bladed dive or surge
then you finish off the phase with
death finger and/or soul volley and another command skele.
and that's it for the blood phase!
Of course it can happen that you have bad rolls on damage
or you accidentally clicked somewhere else but there's no need to panic.
kill the reavers, command ghost and skele and spam finger and volley
as soon as you got stacks.
You can kite around the arena while you have your spirits attacking nex
to slow down the phase too. don't forget that thresholds won't take adrenaline
if you lost target by killing reavers so use that to your advantage.
honestly nex is really hard especially if your combat stats are low or
if you're not used to the abilities of this new style just like me.
