Service Mesh Building Blocks with Linkerd - Charles Pretzer
The distributed nature of applications built on a microservices architecture requires that we have a means to observe and secure the services. In this session, attendees will learn how they can add the Linkerd service mesh to their services running on Kubernetes.
We'll discuss the four tenets of the service mesh and show how each of them is implemented using Linkerd. The presentation will include a demonstration of installing Linkerd to enable understanding of how to simply start using a service mesh.
We'll also take a look at a multi-cluster installation of Linkerd for advanced cluster operations for applications distributed across multiple availability zones and data centers.
After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the Linkerd CNCF community and project.
