Hearing some 2 meter SSB out there. What to expect.
#hamradio #radiocommunication #2meter With 2 meter SSB and CW most people use horizontal Yagi antennas. Some even use more power to do moon 🌕 bounce on uppersideband. In my area I do occasionally hear stations in the early mornings. And sometimes through out the day during band openings. My suggestion would be get a beam with a rotator to turn your antenna towards the area you wish to listen or connect too. Rigs off the top of my head that do 2 meters SSB are the ft-991a, ic-7100, xiegu, 6100,6200, ic-705, ic-9700, ic-706mk1,2,3, Kenwood ts-2000. I am sure there are more radios that do all mode as well. 73.
