The first scene of Requiem, titled The Plain of Dreams. This scene has undergone some very minor revision in the last year. I elected to rotoscope out each frame instead of using chroma-key to remove backgrounds. This makes the edges more defined, and frankly, it makes me happier, so thats why I've done it. Also I have discovered a new way to clean up the colors so that the distracting shifting of hues in eliminated. (observe the close up of Venger after he blows up the monolith)
As of January 12, 2019, I have 20 minutes completed. There is still more to do as the final product will clock in between 25 and 26 minutes. The remaining scenes that need to be completed are some of the more complicated ones (I put them off because I wasnt sure exactly how I was going to do them) So progress is slow at this time. It will be done though, so keep checking back!
As of 18 June 2019: My "supercut" clocks in at 27:10 seconds. This includes the 1 minute title intro and the 30 second end credits. This cut is unfinished, being that there are several scenes that don't have backgrounds, or the characters need synced. I keep having to revise my predictions on how long this is going to take, so I won't make any promises except that it is still being worked on everyday (in one way or another)
Also, be sure to check out the second video of test footage I uploaded to my site. Get to see the kids in action.
