How to Recover Deleted Contacts from Your Phone - Definitive Solution
If you accidentally delete a contact from your Android phone's address book, you can easily restore and recover them.
For example, I'm deleting a contact from my address book, which only had one person saved. As you can see, when I close and reopen the contacts app, the contact is gone.
To recover them, I open a web browser and go to google.com/contacts. Of course, you must be logged in to your Google account on your phone at this stage.
Now, after logging into the account on my phone, I click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
I press the "Undo Changes" button.
In the window that appears, there are options for 10 minutes, 1 hour, yesterday, 1 week, and custom. You can restore contacts for the selected time, up to a maximum of 30 days.
Since I just deleted them, I choose 10 minutes and click "Undo".
Once the undo process is complete, you can open your phone and check the contacts section. You will see that the deleted contacts have been restored. If they haven't been restored, wait a while, check your internet connection, refresh the app, and check the contacts again; the restoration process should definitely work.
Another way is to manually select and restore contacts you've deleted from the Recycle Bin. Now, I'm deleting this contact again. After going to Google.com/contacts, I go to the Recycle Bin in the bottom left, select the number, and click "Restore."
Once the process is complete, I open the Contacts app, swipe down once to update the app, and I've restored the contact.
