In this tutorial, we’re diving into editing a studio photo in Photoshop where the backdrop is too small! When working with limited backdrop space, especially due to perspective, you often end up with parts of your studio showing in the shot. We'll walk you through how to extend the backdrop and eliminate the extra background.

Step-by-step:

Import the image into Photoshop.
Select the subject and inverse the selection to focus on the background.
Create a second layer to "work" on the background.
Use the Brush Tool to blend the backdrop seamlessly into the new space.
Add noise to the painted area to match the original backdrop texture (due to the 256 bitrate of the image).
Compress your file, and you’re done!
This quick and easy method will save you time on your studio shots! If this helped, click the like button and don’t forget to subscribe for more editing tips!
