The UC Davis Earth and Planetary Sciences department is internationally recognized for its faculty, teaching and research programs. The department has 19 full-time faculty, as well as numerous scientists and academic federation members, post-doctoral scholars and associates. A large number of graduate students and undergraduate students majoring in geology help create a vibrant community in the department.
