Boox Upgrade 3.5 No. 5: Finally! Advanced Controls in Notes for multiple side gestures
Boox Update 3.5, Enable/Disable side gestures while using notes. I've personally not used side gestures for my devices much as i felt they were more of a hindrance while taking notes because of the same gestures used to turn pages and navigate back. I was constantly getting out of the app when what i really wanted was to flip to the next page.This led to alot of frustration so much so that i didnt assign any side gestures. Hence, while this isn't a mind blowing feature, the option to disable certain gestures while taking notes certainly resolves the long standing issue of mistaking a 'next page' swipe for a 'back' swipe. The real advantage is that you can now to navigate between apps and pages without the navigation bar at the bottom of the page for the 'back' button. Hence for some like myself, this feature helps you gain back 2 side gestures. that makes this update a low key game changer in terms of user experience #boox #booxnovaairc #booxhacks #booxtips
