Keep in mind that the shops are closed on Sundays, so plan your visit during the week. With so many colors, styles, prices, and fabric qualities available, it's easy to spend an entire day browsing through the stores. For those short on time or suitcase space, like I was, you may need to be selective in your purchases. I managed to pick up two stunning pieces of fabric, and I can’t wait to share more about them in my upcoming fabric haul—stay tuned!

One of the best parts of shopping in Athens' fabric district is the thrill of discovery. Many stores may look small from the outside but open up into much larger spaces once you're inside, packed with fabrics of every imaginable kind. Navigating Athens is a breeze. While we did most of our exploring on foot, Uber is a convenient and affordable option, with most rides costing just a few euros.
