C-section rates in Brazil average about 55.5 percent across the country, but in the private sector, at private hospitals, can be as high as 85% to 90%. The Elite like to have parties around their births, hair, makeup, and dressing up, but statistics show that the more you do C-sections, the higher the rate of maternal mortality, the higher the rate of complications in recovery post-birth, and it's harder to nurse.
