What does the show "Let's Get Married" teach us?
Let's say you own Channel One, watched by the entire country. If you want people, your viewers, to build strong, healthy families, to reduce the divorce rate, and to ensure children grow up with their parents, then during prime time on TV you'll show happy parents with many children, show couples celebrating their silver and golden weddings, interview them, and broadcast their life experiences of building a strong family to the entire country. You can call such a program whatever you like, the main thing is that it will feature people who have built happy families, know how to do it, and you'll simply give them the opportunity to speak to a wide audience.
Now imagine a different situation: you still own Channel One, the entire country watches you, but your goal is now different: reducing the country's population by destroying the institution of the family. Your measure of success in this case is an increase in divorces and broken families. You can't openly encourage divorce on television; society won't allow it.
But you could create a television show featuring regular appearances by people whose personal lives, as they say, "have not worked out." To achieve your goal, you need to give the entire country a platform to people who aren't good at building strong relationships, who constantly get married and divorced, or to those who are irresponsible and have no intention of starting a family at all, but simply enjoy life.
