AMEND: A followup video on the recent update. If you have an invisible FlyByWire Simulations A320 LEAP not shown on the aircraft selection page, then you're Wonder Woman (Get it? she flies an invisible plane). To fix that, you need to REMOVE the previous folder and download the FBW folder again through the installer 1.1.4 version. After completion, you should have the A320 LEAP aircraft model shown in the aircraft selection page, indicating that it worked. Thanks for watching!

A quick update from the fabulous FlyByWire Simulations team regarding their A32NX being a standalone aircraft. Now they're making it official, you'll see not one but TWO A32neos. One is the infamous default version from Asobo/Microsoft and another one under the name FlyByWire Simulations' A320neo (LEAP). The LEAP version is the one that has all the good stuff from the team, you name it. Now if you updated the latest version from them, you won't be able to use the previous liveries from the supposedly A32neo mod (A32NX). Any liveries meant for the A32NX all works on the default A32neo and not the LEAP version. The respective content creator must create another one for LEAP. Be advised if you want to use your liveries, don't update to the latest version. Wait around minimum one week for everything to be set in motion and make everyone satisfied. If you have trouble installing the latest installer from them, delete the previous folder in the community folder and install it completely new. Thanks for watching and stick around for more videos.

Official post from FBW Sim:
"Hey everyone!
This is a heads-up that in approximately four hours from now, we will begin packaging and distributing the A32NX as a separate aircraft from the default Asobo A320neo. This has been planned for several months now and is a necessary step to reduce compatibility issues as well as make the A32NX available through the in-game MSFS marketplace in the near future (of course, still remaining freeware).

This package separation, or "fork", will only affect new versions of the development and experimental branches (a 0.6.0 stable release with the fork will come within the week).

One of the main things to be aware of is that liveries made for the default A320neo will no longer function in the new FlyByWire package. Liveries will need to be converted by their respective authors.

Additionally, a simple livery conversion tool will be available in our next installer version, which will be released approximately a week from now (subject to change). This utility will be opt-in and will require the users' discretion to make sure the livery's license allows such modification. External programs which identify individual aircraft may need to be updated to recognize the new FlyByWire A32NX package.

While this might represent an inconvenience for a short amount of time, we are sure that 3rd party content authors will be quick to provide you with updated liveries and programs. If you wish to avoid this, we advise that you remain on your currently installed development/experimental versions for now.

We have released v1.1.4 of the installer to support the package separation of development and experimental.

If you have tried to update/install with v1.1.3 please perform a "clean" install of the A32NX (delete old versions in community). As a reminder the A32NX will now appear as a separate aircraft in the sim.
