Backstory:
I wrote What If about my remembering my first love and wondering if it could work out now that we're older. As you have to meet the right person at the right time as well. In our case we were both too young [18] the first time. Have you ever wondered if it could work out with an ex?

Shout out to my mate Winston for volunteering to play my fake boyfriend for the day. We’re dancing a slow salsa in the video as I used to go dancing with the ex that I wrote the song about. I haven't danced in 3+ years, but hopefully don’t look too rusty haha.
It’s been a huge achievement for me to get to this point as I am still recovering from post viral fatigue after contracting dengue fever in Brazil. Yay for painkillers/sports drinks/caffeine 🤣 Shooting a music video is demanding at the best of times, so I usually film over about 4-5 days/often spread over several weeks (I find I can manage my energy better that way) as you need to put a lot into any performance. This video was even more challenging that usual, as well as trying to dance properly for the first time in 3 years....on slippery grass....it was pretty cold with 25mph winds! I hope you agree the effort was worth it!
