Time of Flight - How does it Work?

Learn more about Time of Flight(ToF), one of the three technologies that allow Scoobe3D Precision to create seamless 3D models with a precision of up to 0.1 mm.

Using ToF, #3dscanners collect distance data from the sensor to the scan object. To measure this info, the 3D scanner employs an infrared sensor.

Scoobe3D Precision technology (patent pending) uses a combination of ToF, photogrammetry and polarization. Unlike laser-based systems, hand’s tremor does not affect the accuracy of this technique.
