Alabama Hills - A photography paradise
A unique place for photography is located near Lone Pine in the Alabama Hills. This BLM land is situated at the base of the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada range just below towering Mount Whitney. The massive rock formations change color with the rising and setting sun. Alabama Hills is a spectacular location for astro photography. The skies are usually clear, and there is little or no light pollution.
