Juneau Alaska and Mendenhall Glacier Tour in 4K
As part of our Alaskan Cruise on Celebrity Solstice cruise ship we visited Juneau, Alaska in the late afternoon and evening of July 17, 2017. The highlight of the trip was the helicopter trip to the Mendenhall Glacier and our brief ice walk. The weather was low clouds and rain on and off. It is very rare to catch a day of clear skies but we felt lucky to have a window of lifting clouds so our trip was not cancelled due to weather.
The video was shot with a Sony AX53 in 4K as well as a chest mounted GoPro 4 Black. TEMSCO Helicopter Glacier tours was our host and guide for the Glacier walk.
