FSD Test Drive to St Augustine
This is a long form video. Our first drive on Highway I-95 to St. Augustine for lunch with daughter and family. I decided not to use fast motion on the long stretch of highway as viewers can skip ahead if they want.
The first challenge was that I forgot to mount my GoPro 7 camera on the instrument display for the video so I let Full Self Drive handle the driving while I set up the camera. It handled the drive very nicely but I did pay attention to what it was doing.
Once in St. Augustine, as usual, the map Navigation had us taking a quick route to the restaurant dedicated parking lot but that route was closed to all vehicles and designated by the city for walkers only. There are many one way streets, only wide enough for one vehicle and side streets off limits to vehicles so we had to drive around in circles working our way into the center where we could enter the parking lot. The map navigation and FSD just would not work so I ended the video.
