Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game developed and published by Game Science. Black Myth: Wukong is available on August 20, 2024 for PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Windows (PC) with Xbox Series X/S releasing at a later date.
Black Myth: Wukong is a single-player action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology. In this game, you play as the Destined One, embarking on a journey that mirrors the legendary Sun Wukong, the Monkey King and central figure of Journey to the West. The gameplay is heavily focused on cinematic set pieces and a dynamic combat system that keeps you engaged throughout. A key feature is the ability to use transformations and spirits, allowing you to adopt the signature abilities of enemies or temporarily morph into bosses you’ve previously defeated. These transformations range from a slow-moving creature with a massive stone head, capable of stomping the ground and charging with immense power, to an anthropomorphic tiger wielding a greatsword.
In Chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong, you'll face a total of 11 bosses. Among them, 4 are Yaoguai Kings, and another 4 are Yaoguai Chiefs. Additionally, there are 2 secret bosses to discover. There's also one character who doesn't quite fit the traditional boss category, but we'll delve into his significance later in the journey. So join me in this journey.
