How to Get Lucky Egg in Pokemon Crystal (Read Description)
I could not find any good tutorials on YouTube, so here is the first eleven minutes of my 2nd hunt.
This is a rendition of DuduRetroGames' Gold and Silver tutorial:
• Get the Lucky Egg Pokemon Gold Silver
The changes are simple.
1st change — Go to the patch of grass in Route 13
2nd change — Hunt in the Morning (4:00 AM - 9:59 AM) and Day (10:00 AM - 5:59 PM)
Optional change — Use a joystick controller because it is easier to move more steps for a prolonged time with a joystick controller
That's it!
The original tutorial works, but this way is more efficient. The pokemon spawns are different in Pokemon Crystal as opposed to Gold and Silver.
I spent, in total, around 3-6 hours hunting. However, I used this method for about 1-2 hours until I got the Lucky Egg on my 6th or 7th Chansey.
