ØNYX Wandering Session: All That I Love
The idea for our song ‘All That I Love’ began in Gotland, Sweden. Whilst on vacation, the guitars and lyrics were composed. After a week apart, the song came together quickly when we got to play together again. The song uses techniques we’ve never used before, such as an accelerando during the chorus along with the switch from picking clean chords to strumming distorted power chords.
The meaning behind the lyrics walks hand in hand with the tempo change in the song. Life is full of temptations that can have a big effect on one’s behavior along with consequences affecting loved ones.
