Mario Kart Wii - 2019 Recap
You may find it hard to believe, but at the end of the year I decided to upload a video that summarises my year 2019 in Mario Kart Wii, with some epic moments from World-Wide Races, Custom Track World-Wide Races, MKW Fun Private-Room Races, Clan War Races and also from the European MKW Tournament. The editing of this video here took me a total of 30 hours, spread over a total of 8 days. Alone for the reason, because I watched races by the hour to then also miss there no important clip... In the end it should be 200+ clips. Now we come to the topic how it will look like with this channel in the future. I think you have realized that the last (real) video was more than 4 months ago. For the reason that I haven't really had any content that I wanted to upload as a video since then, but I also had some private stuff to do in the past and it will be the same in the future, because school is still in the way and just takes up my time. Also, the disc drive on my Wii is broken, which means I can't load games from the drive. CTGP has to suffer from that, too, because it requires the original Mario Kart Wii disc. The whole drama has been going on since around mid-May 2019, but I'd like to attack in the near future and get a new drive for Wii with all the tools I need. But I don't want to make any specific plans as to when that will be. A new WiiU is not really an option for me at the moment, because (for whatever reason) it is not cheap on the internet. And the money for it is needed for something else at the moment. So what's the outlook for 2020 with this Channel. I agreed that I want to live stream most of the content on this channel, because it is possible to interact directly with the viewers. I don't want to deny that there won't be a single video uploaded to this channel in 2020, but the time I would invest in these videos would be too much, and from what I can see at the moment, not at all, because school takes up too much time. So in the future, there will be livestreams on weekends or during holidays, which are not comparable to the effort of an edited video, and therefore there will be more content on this channel again, just not as a "spectacularly edited" video, as I often did in the past, but as a "monotonous" livestream. Also, I have to admit that editing videos is not as much fun as it was 2 or 3 years ago, with effects that match the music, because that was frame-by-frame work. So I think everything important for the future is said and we will meet again in 2020 with a new concept on this channel. Even if not much has happened on this channel in 2019, I still want to thank you for this year 2019!
