This project was just something I've been working on the side of school and work since the beginning of the pandemic when I became more interesting in computer vision. After backing the Luxinos kickstarter and getting the Oak-1 I realized the potential for it in Vex Robotics or other alternative competitive robotics competitions like FTC or FRC, and decided that I wanted to make a working machine that would demonstrate the technology being implemented in a similar environment.
Main Hardware used:
Vex V5 System (Motors, Main Microprocessor)
Raspberry Pi 4B (Vision, RS485 hat to communicate via V5 "Smart Ports")
Luxonis Oak-1 Camera
