EverQuest : Tradeskills : Goru'kar Mesa, the best all-around zone for basic items
This zone has all the basic tradeskill items you need to skill up with. Here you can farm snake eggs, spider silks, spiderling silks, LQ,MQ,HQ, wolf and bear skins/pelts, ruined pelts, and the more modern types such as sullied, tattered, etc. In addition to the standard forage table, you can forage high-end, 300+ level items like tuft of grey wolf fur and grizzly bear head or skulls. Many other items drop as well. Defiant armor and weapons are common drops and with three merchants nearby, you can unload unwanted items for a lot of platinum.
