So the recent employment report of 818,000 over reported jobs has Jerome Powell talking about a rate cut in September maybe one more could possibly be .5 total between those two cuts if they materialize. This affects short term rates like CD's car loans credit card rates. But the mortgage rates have begun to drop. This is a signal to buyers and sellers both that the market is changing hopefully in a positive way for both parties. Right now the market is in the murky middle inventories are up 40 percent from last year. Buyers are picky so sellers be sure your home is move in ready.. Buyers are generally offer under list price and asking for sellers concessions. Insurance rates are still rising quickly and property taxes are another factor. I also am seeing many loan modifications around the metroplex which reflects there are some folks suffering from the rising costs of living. This does not mean a wave of foreclosures are coming it means that the economy is not as strong as it was. We still have demand with 100 people moving here a day so demand is still strong and companies continue to move here. This is an opportunity to buy and sell right now. Let's see where the market heads.
