Batch File Renamer Addon for Blender 2.78 Tutorial
A Batch File Renamer addon for Blender 2.78. Select multiple files in Blender's file browser, match characters in the names, or even the whole name, using Regular Expressions, then replace the matches with new characters in all selected files with one click of a button. Includes the ability to reverse the file naming order and even randomly shuffle the order.
As long as the content 'last modified' attribute of the files has not changed, you can easily restore an enumerated sequence to its original creation order.
Testing environment: Blender 2.77-2.78. Operating systems: Ubuntu 14.04 (Linux) and Windows 10.
