Welcome to our PM IC Reballing Tutorial!

Today, we will show you how to properly reball a PM IC to ensure a successful repair.

First, you will need a heat gun, a solder paste stencil, and some solder balls.

Start by carefully removing the PM IC from the circuit board using a hot air rework station. Be sure to apply heat evenly to avoid damaging the surrounding components.

Next, clean the pads on the circuit board and the PM IC with some flux and a solder wick. This will ensure a clean surface for reballing.

Place the solder paste stencil over the PM IC and apply a small amount of solder paste. Use a squeegee to evenly spread the paste over the stencil.

Carefully place the solder balls onto the PM IC using a pair of tweezers. Be sure to align the balls properly with the pads on the IC.

Once all the balls are in place, carefully heat the PM IC with the heat gun to reflow the solder balls. Be sure to apply heat evenly to avoid any cold joints.

Allow the PM IC to cool before carefully placing it back onto the circuit board. Solder the IC back into place and test your repair.

And there you have it! Your PM IC has been successfully reballed. Thanks for watching our tutorial, and don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more repair tips and tricks.
