This video series was created to commemorate Lucius Werthmüller at a reunion—a gathering of various media outlets and friends in May 2022.
Lucius Werthmüller, born in 1958, has been exploring all areas of borderland for over 30 years. He has been president of the Basel Psi Association since 1991. In 1994, he joined the Basel Psi Days team as a program coordinator and served as their project manager from 1999 to 2007. In 2000, he received the prize of the Swiss Foundation for Parapsychology. He is president of the Gaia Media Foundation and was project manager of the international symposium "LSD—Problem Child and Wonder Drug," which took place in Basel in January 2006 to mark the 100th anniversary of Dr. Albert Hofmann's birth. Together with Dieter Hagenbach, he is the author of the biography "Albert Hofmann and His LSD." His other activities included collaborating on parapsychological research projects and publishing articles on parapsychological topics.
Among other things, he ran a secondhand bookshop. Lucius Werthmüller was the father of three adult sons and lived with his partner, Sabin Sütterlin, in Basel.
On the morning of April 9, 2021, Luci died unexpectedly. The cause of death is unknown. Until the Sunday before, Luci was in excellent health and looking forward to spring – he was full of energy.
We remember Luci as a warm-hearted life partner and loving father who said of himself that he never grew up and lived life to the fullest, according to his own rules. He indulged his rebellious streak until the very end and remained unique in every way.
Luci was cremated and laid to rest in a private family ceremony.
