The big overhauls coming with season 4 of Diablo 4 will also include some massive endgame additions, including the greater rift like system called THE PIT OF ARTIFICERS. The pit is an endgame focused system where you race against a 10 minute timer to defeat enough enemies to spawn a boss and defeat that boss before the timer ends.
