Praise Dance: Mali Music - "Make Me New"
Here I am performing to "Make Me New" by Mali Music & Together We Stand Community Choir.
--Meaning Behind This Performance--
This dance entails the circumstances Christians go though and how difficult it is trying their best to live for God. This is, honestly, my testimony (I guess you can call it the "story of my life").
Often times, preachers will talk about how Christians can't have one foot in the church and another in the world. When you try to live for God in the best way possible, there's always something that's blocking that connection and causes a war within yourself (flesh vs. spirit, darkness vs. light, etc.).
In this dance, I wanted to show that throughout all the turmoil and hardship it takes going through being a Christian, at the end of the day, all I want is to be closer to God and for Him to be happy with me, even when I doubt myself.
