"8" (written by Billie Eilish and FINNEAS) is KRISTOPHER's 3rd single release of 2021 and his first cover song.
Originally titled “see-through”, the song was released as track #8 on Eilish's 2019 global platinum debut album "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" Although never released as a single, "8" charted gold and peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 shortly after the album's release.
KRISTOPHER is the first artist to record a single of "8", under license from publishers Universal Music Corporation and Kobalt Music. The song was released by Artemis Music on the 2-year anniversary of the original, March 29, 2021.
"8" by KRISTOPHER delivers a new vocal and instrumental arrangement to this unique composition, aspiring to a relatable sophistication in tribute to the song’s original artistry.
